WILLIAM EUGENE BERRY was born on September 1st 1896 and died on September 30th 1984. He married Pattie Alma McAdams on June 6th 1924. Alma as she was known by the family was born November 17th 1899 and died April 16th 1993.Gene Berry spent time in the Army during World War One. His picture in uniform is on the right. The picture on the left was probably taken around Christmas 1896. After Gene and Alma were married they moved to Mebane, Orange County NC. They lived there all the rest of their lives. Gene was a contractor and did some commercial building and repairs as well as individual homes, He also was partners in a Bar B.
