Robert Berry and Sally Cates were married in Person County North Carolina circa 1814. There is a great deal that we do not know about this family. We know that they did live in Orange County for their entire lives or at least until 1850. Sally Berry age 52 (born 1798) listed as head of household in 1850 with her two daughters Racheal age 11 (born 1839) and Sarah age 14 (born 1836).
Robert C. Berry was a witness to a land deal in between William and Thomas Person Berry and Samuel and Felix Wilson on September 19, 1833. Orange County Deed Book 25 Page 431.
