This is the 1840 Orange County North Carolina Census showing Parsons Berry's family
My personal opinion is that this is Thomas Person Berry and the census taker misspelled his name. There is a slight discrepancy in three of the children listed (in White) but everything else fits. Thomas Person Berry was 33 years old in 1840.  two
