John Berry,
Isaac Berry, Henry Berry and David Berry were the four sons that did
not buy any items at the
William Cate inventory sale in 1803 .David Berry was married and may or
may not have been there or didn't
see anything he wanted. Henry and Isaac were living with their father
and both
were single. This makes me think
John was a younger son also and living with his father.
We have found very little information on John.
We know John never listed in a census.
We know he was dead by 1812 since his father stated that fact in
his will.
We know that John Berry and Hannah Berry had a daughter Elizabeth
Berry in 1812.
We know this fact from Temperance Franklin's bible page.
We do not know if the John Berry in Temperance Franklin"s Bible was the
son of Robert.
We have never found a record of a marriage between Hannah Berry and
John Berry.
We know that Hannah Berry was living by herself in 1810 since she
listed
head of household that year.
We know that Hannah Berry and William Berry were Thomas Person Berry's
Father and Mother
We know that Thomas Person Berry was born in 1807.
We do not know what happened to the marriage between William and Hannah
Berry after 1807 when
Thomas Person Berry was born.
We know that when Elizabeth Berry married Theodric Franklin, Thomas
Person Berry signed the marriage bond.
We Know that Hannah Berry was living with Henry Berry in 1850.
We think that Hannah Berry may have moved in with Henry by 1820 and was
living with him for the rest of his life.
We don't think Hannah ever married Henry
We don't think Henry ever married.
We know that after Elizabeth Franklin lost both her Husband and her
Mother (Hannah Berry) in 1858 she
returned to Orange County.
We know that Elizabeth Franklin was living with Thomas Person Berry in
