David J. Berry moved from Orange County, North Carolina to Fayette County, Georgia, however some records were found in the Henry County Courthouse.

David J. Berry was on the 1829 Tax Digest for Fayette and the 1830 census.  In 1833 he appeared on the Tax Digest and he also had property in Henry County auctioned off in  1838 to Abner Camp for 175.00 for 202 1/2 acres.  Joe Lake has papers that Whitmill P Allen was adminstrator of estate with Robert Berry,

Also Marshall Berry claims that David J. Berry was in Jones County but I can't find that information but he may have had a daughter Elizabeth Charlotte  (the daughter Mary Blalock had before they married) married John Dennis in Jones County.
